I am a Senior Project Manager at the University of Alicante's Institutional Project Management Office (OGPI), coordinating and working on EU-funded international projects (through Erasmus+ CBHE programme, and previously through ACP-S&T II, EDULINK II, TEMPUS and ALFA III Programmes). I have worked with partners from around Europe, Africa, Western Balkans, Latin America, South East Asia and the Caribbean. Previously, I have gained good experience in Project Management and Innovation services at University Miguel Hernández and its Science and Business Park. I built up strong experience in monitoring projects funded by European Commission in which researchers of University Miguel Hernandez were involved as part of my job at the Technology Transfer Office.Liaising with researchers, entrepreneurs, companies, public bodies, clients and colleagues I have acquired the ability to interact with different people and resolving conflicts. I am also able to target and take responsibility for achieving results within defined timescales.Previously I have lived and worked in several countries (UK and Mexico) mainly in accounts positions, therefore I recognise cultural differences and communicate in a way that works. I have gained some experience in evaluation/validation and monitoring as team leader. I was responsible for validating my team's job in terms of checking its accuracy and quality. As a team leader I had to make sure that we follow tight deadlines and accomplish specific tasks.
