I spent 26 years of my career in the barrel business. Touring the entire world of wine and spirits many times. A barrel producer has the chance to be invited in all the best estate around the world taste the wine and advice combination of barrels it is such a lucky job! Since September I focus on my personal Estate château de Montaigne, which is a 16 hectares vineyards in Bio at 20 minutes of the great city of Saint Emilion, but also a touristic site with more than 15 000 visitors per year. I amNow the seventh generation owner and it is my role to optimize this chateau and pass it at its best, to the next generation! It is really a special place to visit with fantastic wines and a great atmosphere.
