✨ Taking on a career change to fine what I’m passionate about! ✨🇺🇸 I’m a military brat brought up to work hard, to always be respectful, and to never do things halfway. When I took on my first job in Highschool at the esteemed BDubs (Buffalo Wild Wings) I took every position I held with great pride. There I discovered my drive to learn and to be reliable. This led me to joining the Air Force.I learned a lot of amazing things; one big aspect of the job was how important your part can be even while behind the scenes. We knew how our 24/7/365 workload was detrimental to the base’s mission and to our higher leaders. 🐝 I am a busy bee! Being an extrovert, I got involved outside of the office. I started volunteering which pushed me to help create support organizations, fundraisers, and organize donation drives. If I wasn’t at work or trying a new place to eat with friends, I was most likely planning or already at another volunteer event.☀️ My positive and friendly attitude automatically made me the ‘Sunshine Monitor’ of any office I came to join. Leave all the birthday celebrations, holiday decorating, going-away gifts/parties, and team-building activities to me! ⌛️ I grew so much in my 7 years in the Air Force; experiences overseas living, working with other nations and branches, and handled multiple programs/trainings. I’m thankful to have had the opportunities I had but I’m ready to change the lifestyle that I know, time to join to civilian work force!💡 Many would think after 7 years in the military I would have a good idea of what I want my career to be. I know I have a passion for non-profit work, I can be a vital asset in any position I’m put too. I'll become a subject matter expert, improve processes, and helping anyone I can along the way. I’m not scared to ask questions to get the information I need, someone else might have the same question one day.And I want to keep learning and growing! Learning new things comes with ease to me, and I'd love to be able to work in a company where I can grow from within the company and develop myself.👨‍👩‍👧 When I’m not at work you can find me enjoying the company of my toddler, husband and our 3 rescue dogs. I love to try new foods but I’m also picky. I don’t do salads, pickles, or anything with mayo. Thrifting is one of my favorite pastimes, for the last year I’ve bought most items second hand or from local small businesses if possible. I try to do my part in the economy and minimizing waste. My family loves to read and we are a nerdy bunch. You might find me at the next Comic-Con cosplaying!
