I decided to do simultaneous interpreting professionally from 2012. Prior to that I had done a lot of written translation of screenplays, documents, news stories, etc in my media/communication jobs and interpreted consecutively and simultaneously for workshops and trainings during my teaching & consulting jobs. I am effectively bilingual, now having openings for freelance jobs in simultaneous and consecutive interpreting, both on-site and remote. VIET-ENG/ENG-VIET. My clientele includes Masan Group, Saigon Coop, Boston Consulting Group, TUV-SUD, many public and private universities, ILO, CHANGE, Cotton USA, COFICO. I've interpreted for international conferences such as Fi Vietnam, ProPak Vietnam, Vietnam HR Summit, Seamless Vietnam, and regional events such as the ASEAN Forum on Women Protection & Empowerment.

I'm contracted to provide simultaneous interpretation from Vietnamese into English at weekly meetings for expat board members and top-level executives of the company. Occasionally I translate at AGMs, and corporate training programs.

Continuing my role in communication and international relations for the Vietnam Association of Food Science and Technology, but now focusing on the scope of VAFoST Saigon chapter, the association’s branch in Ho Chi Minh City.

RW is a start-up social enterprise that aims to transform waste management in Vietnam by rescuing and reviving “dead waste” (recyclable items that often end up in landfill). I started helping the team as a mentor and then decided to take on a bigger role. As RW’s Director of Capability Development, I lead in-house training and capacity building programs to help the company grow and thrive as we take on project of larger scales and stakeholders with higher standards and expectations.

I report to the executive vice president of VAFoST regarding international relations activities such as liaising with the International Union of Food Science & Technology (IUFoST) and regional associations. I'm the local coordinator for the IUFoST Visiting Professor Program. I also handle event, media planning and translation for seminars organized by the association (at PROPAK and Fi Vietnam)

I was an associate trainer at SMEI Vietnam, the representative of Sales and Marketing Executives International in Vietnam. We offered corporate training services, and international certification programs in Sales and Marketing (CME, CSE, SCPS). I also served as an interpreter for English speaking trainers from North America.

I managed a team that do promotional activities for various services that the hospital offers, and handle international relations matters. I specialize in media communication, pitching good stories (patients' success stories) to newspapers and magazines, scripting TV content, and managing social media.
