Responsible for the set-up and execution of training programs in Dredging:- Setting up the first Dredging school in Africa in close cooperation with the customer.- Planning, setting-up and managing of large customer training programs in the Netherlands and abroad.- Monitoring of all running projects of the department and reporting to the management and all stakeholders.- Managing and instructing trainers and external suppliers on training requirements and technical content.- Worldwide on location training of customer management and operational personnel on the fleet.

Responsible for the support of the different IHC Merwede units with the design of dredging installations and all related components. Solving practical problems from the field concerning the installation, performance and other related issues was part of this function.

MSc thesis work on the trade off of dredging processes in mining and dredging applications.
