As a pro technician in the entertainment industry, I get to wear many hats. In this high speed, constantly changing environment, I get to work on lighting, sound, and cameras, all of which I'm very passionate about. I love to create a space where artists can express their vision, and I get to support their vision with sound and light, as they perform in front of a live audience, and a remote audience online. At the University of Richmond, I not only get work with some amazing and creative people, I also get to share my passion and skills with some eager students, who are just starting out on their career path in the entertainment industry.

It's amazing what one can do with lighting, setting a scene to a create a mood or suspense, or a special effect. The creativity is endless. I've had the privilege to learn from some amazing lighting designers, and work alongside a crew that is just as excited and nerdy as me when it comes to lighting. The evidence is clearly shows on productions such as The Walking Dead, Dopesick, Tapawingo, The Peripheral, Lioness and The Lady In The Lake.

I love motion pictures, not only watching them, but also working on them. There's nothing more exhilarating that collaborating with a creative and passionate team, to bring the vision to the big screen, that started out on paper. I had the amazing experience to work as a grip on shows such as Swagger and Without Remorse.

Passionate about the outdoors, and whitewater sports, summers are my favorite season when I get to paddle and share my passion with customers, rafting, kayaking or paddle boarding. Any day on the river is a good day.

From individual editing stations running Avid Media Composer, Final Cut Pro or Adobe Production Suite to full broadcast control rooms and production studios, to include cameras, green screens, audio mixers, camera switchers, CG stations, etc.

Wrote, edited, and produced newsbreaks, weather spots, and commercials for TV, radio, and website; planned, researched, and coordinated news coverage and locations with clients, producers, and public affairs officers; post-produced news stories; scheduled and formatted 24/7 programming for local television channel; interviewed and taped guests on broadcast camera for diverse news stories; quality controlled products from other producers before airing.Served as station’s Webmaster; updated website with daily newscasts and current information; improved and organized web layout.
