I am a highly motivated individual with a particular interest in social justice and advocacy organizations. I am currently an International Studies major at the University of San Francisco with a concentration in Global Politics and Societies and a regional focus on Latin America. I chose this field of study because I want to learn more about our diverse global society to give myself a well-rounded education and perspective on how our world works. My eventual goal is to attend law school but I wish to gain more professional and life experiences before I do so. The highlight of my work experience so far has been working as a Field Organizer for the Honey Mahogany campaign in the Fall of 2022. During my time there I was given many opportunities to develop my community organization skills, leadership skills and learned a lot about the inner structure and procedures of a political campaign. I particularly enjoyed being able to work with local labor unions and organizations throughout the campaign and appreciated the welcoming and inclusive work environment. Currently I am working as Event Security at AXIS Security.
