I am a highly motivated professional, passionate about community outreach, event planning, and project management. I am a firm believer in lifelong learning. After receiving my Bachelor of Arts in Business in Administration from Hartwick College, I began working in higher education. This unique atmosphere that has allowed me to actively participate in the continuous educational programs, community outreach and directly facilitate programs and initiatives that educate our constituents. In addition, I've continued to further my education by completing my MBA from Marist with a concentration in Ethical Leadership in 2016. Through my professional and volunteer work experience, I have had the opportunity to hone and develop my skills. At Herkimer College as Technical Assistant, I was able to directly connect with the community and build relationships, through outreach and program development while increasing non-credit enrollment by 84% in my first year. I recruited and on-boarded new Community Education Instructors, developed and promoted programs, and provided exceptional customer service to all community members. For the past four years, I have provided executive administrative support in the fast paced IT division at Marist College. Through my work at Marist, I am able to provide customer service support to a range of individuals such as, colleagues in IT, faculty, students, parents and administrators.In my personal time, I enjoy volunteering with the Alzheimer's Association - Hudson Valley Chapter on the Walk to End Alzheimer's Orange/Sullivan County Planning Committee. Through this work, I have spearheaded the coordination of multiple fundraising events, facilitated an ongoing social media presence, and worked collaboratively with the Alzheimer's Association on all fundraising and logistics for the Walk. Since 2013, I have individually raised close to $8,000 for the Orange/Sullivan Walk to End Alzheimer's and in 2016 took on the position of Walk Chair.
