As an educator I am passionate about helping youth reach their academic and future potential. To do this, I look for, and incorporate innovative teaching strategies whenever I can, to engage students in learning. I believe it's important to connect with students and teach them how to market their skills so they can open doors to jobs; or better yet, show them how to be the creators of those doors and provide access to them for others by starting their own businesses. Which leads me to my next passion...entrepreneurship.As a Faculty Advisor for Enactus Centennial I have been able to combine my two passions: social entrepreneurship and helping students hone their essential employability skills through experiential projects.
