As an Afro-Latina journalist — my work, like my identity, centers intersections, and I specialize in stories on women’s health, wellness and culture, and Latino communities. Currently, I'm a Pulitzer Center Reporting Fellow, and just produced and wrote a documentary, "Beyond the Green Wave," on the Afro-feminist movement and the total abortion ban in the Dominican Republic.
