Worked at my university's campus library as a public services assistant. My job duties include: Interacting with library patrons (including peers, university faculty & staff, and community visitors) in a friendly and professional manner.Using various automated library systems and online resources to provide support and services to library patrons.Assisting in administrative/clerical work as needed; including maintaining documents, copying, scanning, and printing.Answering basic informational and directional questions and refer patrons to library faculty/staff.
