Established in 2017, Nene-Uwa Hub Ltd is an organization that promotes tourism-related services through visibility strategies. We help entrepreneurs and organizations in the African Tourism space build visible brands and sustainable businesses through educational programs, project management (events & programs) and digital marketing.In line with our commitment to fulfilling the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, we are (and have) contributing towards the SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) and SDG 17 (Partnership for Goals) by hosting Tourism projects such as: (1) Tourism Crowdfunding Project (2021 - Till date): Providing a fundraising platform to assist Tourism businesses & organizations in Africa to raise funds for their tourism projects (2) Tourism Virtual Summit (2018 - Till date): An annual online conference that brings together tourism professionals and experts to discuss emerging trends and development strategies in the industry (3) Tourism Boost Workshop (2018) and Tourism Business Online Academy (2019): To help upcoming entrepreneurs & startups in the African tourism space(4) Tourism Women Luncheon (2020 - Till date): An annual networking event for African Women in Tourism(5) Tourism Sessions at Social Media Week Lagos (Now AfricaNXT): A five-time successful pitch partner (2018-2020 & 2022-2023) who hosted panel and masterclass sessions to promote tourism development in Nigeria and Africa

"See the World with Ajala Nene" is a tourism podcast that takes you on a journey across Nigeria and Africa to explore the country's diverse and vibrant culture.

As a member of the NESG-THITG, we work on public policy issues in the Nigerian Tourism and Hospitality sector.

Coordinated the THITG Marketing and Communications Subgroup

Managed the Communication channel for Covenant University Alumni Association as follows:(1) Coordinated the Comms team to ensure content (e.g. fliers and captions) were disseminated appropriately weekly on social media, i.e Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn(2) Drafted and sent out monthly newsletters to the community via email(3) Managed the digital platforms such as website, YouTube, and the various online micro-communities i.e. WhatsApp and Telegram groups(4) Worked with the Executive Team (Vice-Presidents, Chapter Leads and Flight Leads) and the Secretariat to ensure the smooth running of the various association's projects(5) Coordinated, facilitated or assisted with organizing physical and online events such as hangouts, summits, webinars, town hall meetings, etc(6) Drafted and sent out half-year reports to update the community about each directorates' activities, and press releases to announce or manage critical information

Management of the Executive Director’s (ED) portfolio - Document control, schedule of meetings, update on reports, e.t.c.; Management, coordination and rendering of necessary assistance to the six (6) departments and two (2) units reporting to the ED;Professional Administrative and Secretarial support service - Compilation and circulation of Head’s of Departments Weekly report, Secretarial support for the Pipeline Team, Reprographic processing of documents.

Clearance and reception of external and internal (staff) visitors;Answering, transferring and making of telephone calls;Adequate check of all documents logged in and out for processing and approval before sending for dispatch to the required departments or person(s);Collating and submitting of management meeting and departmental monthly reports;General maintenance of the Front Office.

Building of tour packages for clients e.g. inbound tours, sight seeing, holiday packages, business packages, cruises;Providing of meet and greet facilities at destinations;Reservation and issuing of flight ticket with the use of Amadeus application;Assisting with visa application i.e. collecting, cross checking and submitting of visa documents;Booking of hotel accommodation;Worked as an implant in Virgin Nigeria Airways on their tour desk.
