Migrated production and testing environments off of EngineYard stack and directly to AWS Services using a mix of Docker, ECS, ElastiCache IAM, and CI tools like Jenkins. Feature, infrastructure, and analytics development at scale using Fastly, Redis, DataDog, Segment.io, and other various integrations.

Ultimately pivoted BunkerMode into a small dev studio focusing on iOS/Android application development for clients.Leading engineering efforts on first title for BunkerMode, HighLimitSports, a social sports betting platform. Drove the initial launch of HighLimitSports. Implemented Continuous Integration for Server and Client code bases. Changed engineering from a waterfall model to be more agile, releasing on a weekly and sometimes daily schedule. Optimized back-end (RoR) to support the growing user base by instrumenting code, analyzing inefficiencies via New Relic, and optimizing back-end stack and application code. Introduced new client features to the title that increased monetization and retention. Wrote the back-end sports feed module (python) that funneled sports information from 3 different providers into our game database. Developed and implemented a solution that re-engaged over 20% of stale users by analyzing player behavior and engaging them on specific betting behaviors.

This mainly consisted of reverse engineering EPROM chips for calculating the probability of unique outcomes of devices like slot machines, and video poker games. Studied the RNGs for these devices, and developed software tools to streamline this type of testing. Subsequently helped setup test labs in South Africa and Europe, and facilitated hiring and training of staff in performing these tasks.
