As a trusted adviser within the CFPB, I support the agency’s enforcement, supervision, and rulemaking activity. My portfolio spans the mortgage, payments, and credit reporting industries, with particular expertise in TILA, FCRA, EFTA and the implementing regulations of those statutes. I have also provided cross-cutting advice in the areas of consumer privacy, affordability, and emerging consumer financial products and services. I relish the opportunity to work with stakeholders throughout the Bureau and beyond to further our mission and craft creative solutions to pressing problems.In my community, I volunteer with neighborhood groups to advocate for transit safety and promote economic justice. In a long history of dedication to pro bono, I obtained asylum for a woman from Honduras and her children, held contractors to their word for a housing nonprofit, and reformed New York State’s system for providing lawyers to people who cannot afford their own.
