As someone deeply passionate about writing, storytelling and creative expression, I’m driven by the power of narratives to connect and inspire. Currently pursuing a degree in Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, I’ve had the opportunity to immerse myself in both creative and strategic aspects of media.At Moda Magazine, I’ve grown from a staff writer to the Editorial Director, where I lead a talented team in crafting stories that cover everything from culture to media and the arts. Writing has always been my outlet, and I thrive in collaborative environments where ideas flourish.From my experiences I've gained a deeper passion and appreciation for magazine production, and I’ve been fortunate to serve in leadership roles for two magazines. As Editor-in-Chief of Curb Magazine, I’ve learned how to manage all the intricate aspects that go into producing a publication, from content creation to design and distribution. This role has strengthened my leadership skills and deepened my appreciation for the collaborative effort it takes to bring a magazine to life.While interning at Open Swim Productions in Brooklyn, I gained invaluable hands-on experience on set, assisting with equipment, organizing media and participating in creative brainstorming sessions. This opportunity allowed me to blend my love for storytelling with the practical skills of media production.Separately, my internship at Relevant Elephant Marketing sharpened my digital marketing abilities, including social media strategy, content creation and engaging audiences through innovative campaigns. Together, these experiences have fueled my creativity and reinforced my passion for storytelling across various platforms.I’m excited to continue building my skills, telling stories that matter and contributing to media in new and meaningful ways.
