I am the Head of the Videomicroscopy Unit of the Health Research Institute La Princesa.My know-how is based on theoretical and experimental techniques I actually perform such as biochemical, molecular and cell biology approaches, as well as microscopy techniques with conventional and superresolution confocal fluorescence microscope (STED, TIRF) and image analysis.I have extensively studied synaptic formation and cell migration and their relationship with different cellular organelles, such as mitochondria, nanovesicles or lytic granules and lysosomes [EMBOJ-2011,-2012; Nat Commun-2013,-2016; Mol Cell Biol-2014; J Cell Sci-2016,-2017 ]. My work has included strong collaborations with a relevnt network of Researchers in different National and International Institutions.Results have been also disseminated through international meetings, as invited speaker and selected oral communications mainly. The conceptualization of proposals for funding is one of my favorite occupations.
