Since I was a kid people and technology have always interested me. So much so that as a kid, I would often ask for the latest video games or little new devices for Christmas. I'd always fidget with small electronic equipment or watch my dad fix an outlet or replace a light bulb. I used to check around the house to see if there were any things I could improve (even though I clearly was too young to try and repair an outlet and could barely reach the light bulb when standing on a chair).This, on the other hand, was something I enjoyed doing, and the time flew by as I was busy coming up with new ideas and always wanting to help around the house. It felt as if there were just a few hours in each day, which I think is a wonderful thing. That just means I had found something I really enjoyed.I got my first job as a Sales Associate when I was 14 years old. The best feeling in the world is helping people or giving them a better experience when doing simple things like shopping. Smiling at a customer and having them smile back, assisting them in finding an item, or simply saying good morning showed me how quickly you can make a positive impact on someone's day. Working in a factory was also a huge learning experience for me. I gained a better understanding of how the world operated by witnessing a single item develop into something that could be shipped to a customer. I'd never given much thought to how things were manufactured. I was used to buying goods in a store or having them delivered and working there taught me a lot about how the world works.I was fascinated by the online world while this was going on. I still remember the day I got my first desktop computer. I was around 9 years old and had saved up for months with the support of my dad. I was immediately drawn to my new computer. I'd spend most of my time playing games, meeting new people, and watching YouTube videos to learn about the internet.My passion for technology and desire to help others drove me to volunteer for Minecraft servers, which eventually lead to a position as a Minecraft Server Manager and Quality Assurance Tester a few years later. Learning about online support, bug testing, and different online systems eventually evolved into me co-founding OnlyHit US. An online radio station broadcasting music 24/7. Now in 2023, I am using all the knowledge I've gained over the last decade to create my own social media marketing agency called sowhat.I'm thankful for everything I've learned so far in my life, and I can't wait to learn even more!
