My whole life is solving puzzles, learning strategies, friendly competition, and teaching others. Little did I know, my career as engineer would stem from my love of the game of chess starting when I was 4 years old. Reflecting back over the years, I loved to find the tactics, learn openings, play my friends, and even restarted a club at my local elementary school. As a recent graduate from the University of South Florida (Go Bulls!!!), studying Electrical Engineering, I’m still the same person. I tackle the hardest puzzles (Quantum Research and Artificial Intelligence), learn strategies (RF/Microwave Theory and Computer Science Algorithms), compete against friends (chess tournaments and hackathons), and enjoy teaching others (leading an engineering student organization). The past three years I have tried to explore the professional world as much as possible with internships at The MITRE Corporation, CAE USA, and NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory. I recently started my career at JHU APL and also pursuing further education from the Engineering for Professionals program.I’d love to get to connect and get to know others in related fields! Don’t hesitate to reach out! 😊
