- During my higher education, I was involved in writing for and took part in leading the student newspaper, the Falmouth Anchor, in creating and building consistent content and articles.- Also, I worked tirelessly to cover the 2019 UK General Election as the School of Journalism's Social Media Manager, working with the team to boost social media activity and interaction with our live coverage of the election as it happened.- I worked as an interviewer for Falmouth's Voices Magazines, talking with subjects in detail and transcribing interviews to help the team build a people-based professional publication.- In 2015-16, I worked has a tutor for underserved, struggling elementary students that gave me a first hand look into the struggles of poor communities in the American education system.- In the Fall of 2018, I took a leap of faith to travel from my home in Michigan (US) to Falmouth in the UK to gain the skills of being a writer.
