Working as an Environmental Solution Specialist,I do operate and maintain all the solids control equipment in the field/site.I also do check the parameters for all the waste material from the rig meet the local and international standard before disposing off in a designated area.I was tasked with maintenance and operation of all Solid Control equipment, from the shakers, augers,centrifuges to vacuum machine and verti-g,carry out all schedule and emergency maintenance of the generator and compressor as per the manufacturers` specification.I prepared the daily reports,rig down,rig move and rig up schedules as well as do inventory for MI Swaco equipment at the site.

Was tasked the operations and control of the W32V18 engines at the company`s Kipevu 2 power plant.This includes;-Remote starting and stopping of the thermal gen-sets.-Routine inspection of boilers.-Do fuel change-overs,that is from diesel to HFO depending on the requirement.-Control and monitor engine speeds,temperature,amount fuel burnt and in the containment tanks.-Overhaul lube oil and fuel oil Alfa Laval separators.-Carry out daily checks on the engines and inform the maintenance department on any faults.-Check out and document all alarms and operations of each engine.- Carry out overhaul of turbocharger (VTR and TPL types).-Monitor generated power by each engine and supply it to the grid.-Also carried out mechanical maintenance of the plant,both scheduled and preventive maintenance.

While there,I did;-Preventive maintenance,which involved daily and weekly checks-Programmed maintenance.Participated in 3k,4k and 9k hours services of both Niigata and Wartsila engines.This included dismantling of cylinder heads,Lube Oil Purifier,removal of pistons and honing of piston casing,inspection of the crankshaft and sanding it,carry out full service of the Turbo Charger, among other equipment.-Corrective maintenance which included repair of pumps and purifiers,steam generator/heat exchanger and standby generators service.-Running and correct the dosage timings in the Reverse Osmosis unit.-Trained and operated compressed air systems as well as carry out the respective maintenance.
