With over 18 years of work experience, I have developed a diverse and dynamic skill set that allows me to excel in both emergency dispatching and ice hockey officiating. As an Emergency Dispatcher at the State of Michigan, I coordinate and communicate with various emergency services and public safety agencies, as well as provide assistance and support to callers in distress. I have honed my public speaking, listening, and problem-solving skills, as well as my ability to work under pressure and handle stressful situations. As an Ice Hockey Official at USA Hockey, I enforce the rules and regulations of the game, ensure fair play and safety, and interact with players, coaches, and spectators. I have gained a deep knowledge and passion for the sport, as well as leadership, teamwork, and conflict resolution skills. I have completed Bachelor of Applied Science in Applied Workplace Leadership at Northern Michigan University, where I aim to enhance my leadership potential and prepare for future career opportunities. I am motivated by the mission of serving and protecting the community, as well as by the thrill and challenge of officiating ice hockey.
