While working at Blacksmith, I helped coordinate a conference for product entrepreneurs called Product PowerUp. I was responsible for creating messaging and promotional materials; coordinating directly with sponsors, vendors and speakers; as well as managing ticket sale campaigns. After completing my undergrad, I moved out to Salt Lake City to work at Snowbird and live the “ski bum” life for a while. I worked at the Pipeline, a small retail shop in the Snowbird center, and skied almost every day, which was glorious.During this time, I moonlighted as a photographer, graphic designer, and website builder. Working as a freelancer taught me valuable lessons in self-accountability.
