Applied extensive knowledge of various intelligence-gathering technologies in conducting land and amphibious reconnaissance operations, intelligence collection procedures, and surveillance activities. Worked directly with the British Special Reconnaissance Service and the Norwegian Long Range Reconnaissance Patrol Unit to strengthen interoperability, and expeditionary readiness. Participated in a variety of amphibious and ground reconnaissance missions, small boat operations, and scouting and patrolling assignments, while serving as winter NATO instructor and scout and mountain sniper. Formally served under the Marine Corps 2D Force Reconnaissance Company and in the reserves with the 3D Force Reconnaissance Company.
