My practice focuses primarily on patent prosecution but covers a range of issues involving all types of intellectual property. I utilize my background in mechanical engineering to assist clients in protecting and managing their intellectual property assets. Before joining Miller Nash, I served as a judicial clerk for the Honorable Debra E. Velure in the Lane County Circuit Court, where I assisted with preparing bench notes, memoranda, orders, and judgments in a wide variety of civil matters. I was also an extern for the University of Oregon Office of the General Counsel, where I conducted research and drafted memoranda on a variety of legal issues, including data privacy and copyright licensing.
