Information Technology Specialist
As an Information Technology Specialist for Courthouse News Service, I work individually and also as a team using Jira, Groove, Slack, Fullstory, SendGrid, SQL and more tools. I worked as an administrator of the CasePortal and DataLocker database, which is Courthouse News Service subscription based product. I work with the database creating queries, retrieving the correct information, assisting users with complex queries, and using data/user experience to investigate solve/troubleshoot issues and close tickets. In addition, I keep track of document requests for users and follow up to retrieve financial, employee, and client records when needed. I manage the maintenance of office and facility equipment regarding network and security controls, draft/mail customer correspondence emails, and create tickets in Jira. After creating tickets in Jira, I worked directly with the Product Development/IT team to follow those tickets to their resolution. High priority tickets were worked on first followed by medium and lower priority tickets. I provided administrative support to other departments or projects as needed and perform other duties, keeping a firm knowledge of networking, information security, and SQL knowledge to work with Product Development team and investigate issues regarding the CasePortal database. Courthouse News Service has been a trusted resource for reporting rapidly and completely on new civil litigation and common law throughout the United States and Courthouse News Service's subscription based product and news delivery platform, CasePortal, provides attorneys with comprehensive coverage, daily reporting, and fast alerts.
