Primary legal counsel for two Carrier business units: Automated Logic Corporation, a leading manufacturer of building automation systems and software, and Automated Logic Contracting Services, Inc., a factory-owned construction and services business. Provide broad legal support and guidance for the businesses and leadership in order to effectively manage risk while meeting business objectives. Significant responsibilities include dispute resolution, litigation, corporate governance, contract development and review, employment issues, policy and process improvement/development, ethics and compliance, collections, marketing and communications, and real estate. Advise management on information technology issues including licensing, data security, privacy, sales, and procurement.

Counsel for NORESCO, a business unit of Carrier Corporation. Drafting and negotiating sales contracts, financing documents, letter agreements, leases, NDAs, and other agreements with public and private customers and suppliers, reviewing requests for proposals, drafting corporate governance documents, conducting legal research, and providing general corporate counsel for a national energy engineering and construction company. Advising management on regulatory and contractual compliance risks and assisting in closing compliance gaps by developing and implementing policies and procedures addressing contractual requirements, federal, state, and local regulations (including the FAR, DFAR, and DEAR), and the policies of NORESCO’s Fortune 50 parent company, United Technologies Corporation.
