Building community amongst students, along with helping them adjust to life on campus life

As a BIM Technician I coordinated with the structural engineers and architects to accurately model structural plans, set up and organized drawing sheets, and revised drawings according to Bluebeam markups. I also gained experience as a structural engineer doing load and equipment sizing calculations.

I interned at Clayco in the Virtual Design and Construction department. This summer I was tasked with working on the coordination side of projects, which included running clash detection, facilitating coordination meetings to discuss clashes with the subcontractors, organizing/managing project folders in BIM 360, modeling project elements in Revit. I also gained experience with scanning job sites by using technologies such as Structionsite and the Navis scanner.
