As Operations Coordinator, some of my responsibilities included, but were not limited to:- Coordinating nightly ball handling/fitness drills- Since we were not allowed to be in the gyms together due to Covid, all sessions were to be done over group zoom calls; I was to assist in all technical aspects so that the coaches could focus on coaching a large group of kids/athletes- Create unique and creative player profile cards for the kids- Research and create contact lists on google sheets of hundreds of OBA clubs, universities, private/prep schools and more- Plan and create creative social media posts- Assist parents with any questions they may have in regards to signing their child up for any of our programsLTD (Long Term Development) Sports is a terrific non-profit organization that deeply cares about the health of children, keeping them active and developing fundamental basketball skills. As someone who is passionate about sports, fitness and working with children, working as an intern with this organization was an amazing experience as many, if not all, of their core values align with mine. I would highly recommend this organization for other future interns in the Sport Management program.
