Global consumer design lead for Graco’s car seat division.• Worked on a multi-disciplinary team consisting of marketing, research, usability, engineering, graphics, soft goods, and manufacturing representatives to develop products from market / consumer insight to final production.• Generated overall design direction on domestic and overseas car seat programs. • Participated in organizing qualitative and quantitative research on a variety of programs including ethnography for European markets and user experience / usability research. • Synthesized research into project directions and presented results to team members and upper management.• Managed outside consultants, which entailed: developing design guides, communicating project requirements, quoting, brainstorming / project kickoff, critiquing of deliverables, requesting changes, and invoicing.• Led a team of engineers to transition design renderings / surface data into tooling-ready databases.• Participated in and commended for brainstorming / concept generation with other divisions.

Taught classes in Visual Communication to design students. This was one of the first Visual Communication classes at CCS to begin bridging the gap from marker rendering to digital rendering techniques using Photoshop and a Wacom tablet.
