As a proactive third-year undergraduate engineering student at Cal Poly, I've cultivated a rich tapestry of experiences and networks through my active involvement on campus. My journey has been deeply hands-on, delving into machining and engineering design within our esteemed student labs. Proficient in tools like SolidWorks and Fusion 360, I've honed my craft through practical application, such as use in CNC mills, manual mills, manual lathes, 3D printers, and more. Beyond the workshop, I wear multiple hats: serving as a Resident Advisor, and contributing my skills to the Cal Poly Super Mileage Urban Concept Brakes Team. Moreover, I channel my passion for mechanics into customizing vintage VW engines for restoration shops across the county. Engineering isn't just a career path for me; it's a familial legacy. Inspired by my grandfather's journey from overseas to pursue engineering in America, I've inherited a deep-seated drive and commitment to excellence. Rooted in San Luis Obispo, my connection to nature and thirst for adventure have profoundly influenced my perspective on engineering and sustainability. I'm eager to harness these values as we propel towards a more sustainable future.
