I attended Marshall University from the fall of 2016 to the spring of 2020 as an undergraduate, then from the fall of 2020 to the spring of 2022 as an MBA student. I was not always sure what I wanted to pursue but figured it out towards the end of being an undergraduate. I have always had a passion for numbers. I came to Marshall planning to pursue a degree in accounting but tried other things such as engineering and computer science. Eventually, I decided I wanted to pursue a degree in economics. What I did not know when I decided this was that a lot of the required classes for economics were also required for finance. I determined that I could major in finance in addition to economics and still graduate in four years. Upon taking more finance classes, I realized it is what I am passionate about. I then pursued an MBA at Marshall University with a concentration in finance to further my knowledge and open up quality job opportunities in the future. I am now a Commercial Banking Analyst at City National Bank.
