Haffner Lab:• Carried out lab procedures to facilitate experiments, such as immunohistochemistry, cell culture protocols, and histological analysis• Worked with Dr. Haffner and other students to improve our understanding of the biology of cancer and in particular prostate cancer• Investigated the expression of transcription factors in prostate cancer associated with transdifferentiation, indicating a shift to neuroendocrine prostate cancer

• Created a symptom abstraction based on spontaneous reports from fluoroquinolone (FQ)-affected patients, drafted a paper analyzing frequency of adverse effects from fluoroquinolone antibiotics, the writeup of which we submitted to the Journal of Clinical Medicine for publication• Created treatment surveys to discover most effective treatments for FQAD, coordinated study visits with patients• Submitted research plans for projects based on analyzing genetic factors in chronic multisymptomatic conditions
