During my time at EHOVE Career Center, I was considered a VIP Student. This meant that I was given the authority to oversee and manage a social media account pertaining to the program I was currently attending. As my major switched, I managed several programs social media along with a very few select students (usually only 2-3 of us PER PROGRAM).I ran these accounts for EHOVE’s Career Exploration, Cosmetology, and Cyber Security programs. The tasks included shooting video/photo content, editing and posting the content onto social media, staying up-to-date on relevant events, both local and global pertaining to our program, and meeting regularly with the Communications Coordinator to discuss our past, current, and future work.I also gained two IT Certifications through Certiport during my time at EHOVE Career Center. I have passed the exams and gained both a Microsoft Technical Associate Certification in both Operating System Fundamentals and Security Fundamentals. Both of these certifications were achieved in the winter/spring of 2020 (during the Initial COVID Lockdown). I also attended Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio from August 2020 to November 2020. I attended the university under a Film Production major, which allowed me to expand my skills in the arts of editing, shooting video/image, as well as writing (both formal and creative). I withdrew from BGSU in November of 2020 due to a health issue which has since been resolved. I do intend to one day continue my studies.
