Noah Howe Email and Phone Number
I am currently a rising senior at Luther College who is highly motivated by the creative and humanistic sides of life. In the workplace, I ideate and strategize constantly to re-imagine systems that will work to better the lives of the individuals who are affected by them. Currently, I am pursuing a degree in Psychology with emphases on community-building, personality assessment and counseling. While in school, I work for the Luther College Career Center as a Clifton Strengths Ambassador, helping students find ways to apply their innate talents and passions to their time in college and beyond. Recently, I have had the opportunity to leverage these same skills of leadership, community-building, and vocation through internships with Ginkgo Bioworks and The Visual Element. I am also pursuing minors in music and counseling and hopes to use these focus areas to develop a professional practice that promotes healthy community growth and expressive communication. This professional ambition has led to my love of people, and I hope to spend my career discovering new ways to motivate, enrich, and allow each individual to flourish in ways that are uniquely their own.

Strengths Peer AdvisorLuther College May 2021 - Sep 2023Decorah, IaAt Luther College, the word "community" means a great deal. The heartbeat of the campus and its variety of arts, athletics, and academics all thrive from the emphasis placed on community. As a Strengths Peer Advisor working in Luther College's Career Center, my work here is centered around helping each person find their place in Luther's developing community through a deeper level of self understanding. Not only does this role focus on career development, resume editing, internship acquisition, and the like, but it is also heavily based on personality assessment. Luther College utilizes CliftonStrengths as the primary tool through which the Career Center seeks to help students understand themselves in a kore meaningful and resonant way. As a Strengths Peer Advisor, my job is to interpret the strengths of each student and help them apply these unique talents in all areas of life. in addition to one on one appointments with students, this role also relies heavily on the promotion of CliftonStrengths and community building through in-class presentations, which require a great deal of public speaking. Lastly, this position has taught me a lot about office work and project management, as the more analytical side of the job requires the use of Microsoft Excel to organize student and faculty strengths, and demands punctual time management while on the job. All in all, this position has fostered a love of community building within me and created a desire to help people understand who they are and what they bring to the table. Through creative problem solving and the brainstorming of new projects, ideas, and initiatives, I hope to help this program grow to become essential to the Luther community and the world beyond. -
