During my time with Manhattan College Sports Medicine, I played a pivotal role in the assistance of 4 Certified Athletic Trainers in a Division 1 setting with 19 different sports teams. Some of my tasks in this role included learning and administering various treatments and rehabs to student-athletes, managing the flow of athletes in and out to maximize time spent, organization, and keeping track of stock. I was also pleased to be able to spend time with some doctors from Columbia Orthopedics during my time here, shadowing these Doctors gave me valuable insight into the major decision-making it takes to provide accurate rehab to patients to provide the most efficient return to play.

During this internship, I interned under an Athletic Trainer and Sports Scientist. As an intern, I was introduced to a variety of software that was used to conduct a variety of tests for an athlete such as the QucikBoard, Keiser Machines, Neurotiming, 3D motion Analysis, and Isokinetic. Compiling and averaging these results into excel allowed us to analyze each athlete and make corrections to exercise plans.
