My passion for aerospace started when I was young visiting EAA Airventure in Oshkosh every year. Growing up near that show gave me an acute appreciation for flight and the amazing engineering feats that they are. I was awestruck at how something so large and so heavy could fly just like a bird. This interest drove me to pursue my education at Wichita State University. While here I have gained a much greater appreciation for the work that has gone into making the aviation industry in the United States so unique and advanced. I have learned so much but do realize that I have much more to learn on my journey through aerospace engineering.Accomplishments:- Developed an automated sanding system for GKN aerospace through and ARM research grant.- Integrated multiple automated work cells for companies such as Rubbermaid and Spirit Aerosystems.- Performed fundamental research on the aerodynamic properties of racing bicycle frames.- Created a high frequency analysis algorithm for detecting and estimating geometric parameters of car parts using computer vision techniques.Skills:CATIA V5, C#, C++, MATLAB, SIMULINK, Object-Oriented Programming, Internal Controls, Aerodynamics, Research and Development, Collaborative Problem Solving, Time Management
