Hired as marketing communications associate to provide support to both the marketing and public relations team. Created a retail directory and provided content for online product listings (Lift&Co., Leafly, and Herb). Oversaw the production of a promotional corporate web-series. Led an E-mail campaign to secure brands to be featured on the 48North curated product listing for Thoughtfull by Indigo. Designed the initial Deck for the Latitude publication – One of Canada’s first cannabis platforms for women.Over the course of the internship it became apparent that the sales department needed reinforcement, in order to assist accordingly the position expanded. Filed corporate registration for five provincial supply application & sales agreements. Created financial performance and competitive pricing comparison indices. Drafted workbacks, product calls, and SOPs for both retail and production purposes.

Picked as one of eight interns from approximately 100 applicants for the farm and agritourism internship. Consisted of a 45-50 hour week. Approximately 35+ hours devoted to farm/maintenance work and 10-15 hours to the educational component of the program. Responsible for the animals. Participated in rotating dinner preparation and service, weekly Italian lessons, and bi-weekly trips to organic/biodynamic farms and wineries. Interaction with visitors, guests and temporary residents was highly encouraged and enlightening. Amongst them were individuals from the faculties of fine arts, music and literature.
