My training at Cornell University is centered around world-class, problem-based, hands-on learning. I have developed essential skills thanks to opportunities to work with a variety of species. As I enter my clinical year, I am excited to put what I have learned into practice.I am interested in a career in Emergency/Critical Care. Seeing new and challenging cases every day will help me build confidence in my transition from school to the workforce. My long-term career goal is to become a mixed-animal practitioner. I hope to own or co-own a veterinary practice where I can provide care to animals of all shapes and sizes. I can take what I practiced throughout the majority of my career in emergency medicine to provide unique treatment opportunities for the private/general practice patient.My experience as a painter working for the client has helped me develop skills in customer service. This is an essential service in veterinary medicine.
