I was on a small crew responsible for downtown mall parking structures and all City Owned parking lots in the surrounding area as well as the public and high school pools in the city. It was our job to maintain the presentability of those public spaces. Our tasks ranged from simply picking up trash and emptying trash cans to removing graffiti, pressure washing, performing facility maintenance, maintaining the cleanliness and safety of public pools, to operating class VI machinery to refurbish concrete surfaces.

As a greenskeeper for the golf course my responsibilities shifted from day to day. My responsibilities ranged from setting up the golf course every morning which entailed going through every detail of the grounds making sure everything is in order for the day, cutting and pulling weeds out of the water features and lakes on the course, to pest control and facility maintenance.
