A lot of my devoted attention in my years of schooling was surrounded by baseball. Baseball served as my foundation in physical wellness, team building, and overcoming adversity. My high school athletic career is a testimony to my constructing of the faith and diligence I have today. All the way after my senior graduation to my first semester at California Baptist, I made a last strong effort to continue my baseball journey and went to try out for the CBU baseball team. With all the difficulties of COVID and the restrictions and limitations to college recruitment, I was one of many to not be selected for that high school class. My heart was broken but knowing my place with God and other capabilities I have, that is when I made the decision to pursue mechanical engineering. This plan of God's felt uncertain and unknown, but I trusted in Him throughout it all and it led me to a future I am grateful to live, being my journey in my mechanical engineering degree.My pursuing of this degree began with instant involvement into the Society of Automotive Engineers: Electric Vehicles (SAE EV) where I took role under my Junior and Senior Powertrain Leads as an Intern to exercise the design process through proper sourcing of materials and enhance understanding of CAD softwares such as Solidworks, Fusion360, and GrabCAD. Much of that development formed my perspective to an accelerated environment of rapid production and skill building to produce quality product. One year of contribution led to a newfound role in CBU Robotics where they are instructed to design and construct a fully customized bot to enter in an international competition through VEX U. VEX U hosts collegiate level teams in the construction, quantitative analysis, and rules inquiry to each game provided yearly for these competitions. My entrance to this group has taken my prior experience for the use of applying manual machining and Solidworks for training and progressing the longevity of the interns entering the team.Present goals for my personal success are to help the 2023-2024 CBU Robotics team win the upcoming competition in Summer 2024 and work hard to achieve an internship and future role in a company that is willing to let me contribute to positive advancements in their specialization of the industry

Cbu Robotics - Build/Cad TeamCalifornia Baptist University Mar 2023 - PresentRiverside, California, United States• I competed in 2 seasons of VEX robotics. The first season being 2023-2024 Over Under and the current season for 2024-2025 High Stakes• I have cooperated with the team leadership in implementing training for the new members and localizing subgoals using Microsoft Teams' built-in task list for all subsystems, and assist in teaching a iterative design process where rapid prototyping and feedback allow everyone to fine tune the success of our robots to my subsystem• My roles were widespread in this this team environment such as construct the physical products of the robots in our team lab using power tools and university provided machinery, promote the club in outreach events whether in the nearby area or at our university, illustrate the engineering notebook required for competition by making custom formatted engineering drawings of the robot parts and assemblies, and facilitate cross-disciplinary collaboration with mechanical and software subsystems to ensure integration • I was part of the first team in club history to make it to the VEX World Championship in Dallas, TX (2023-2024) and this year's team strives to meet higher expectations for the 2024-2025 season. -
