As a creative learning Instructional coach Noah worked with teachers across 13 different campuses in the Austin Independent School district. He collaborated with elementary and middle school classroom teachers on implementing arts integrated strategies and lessons into their curriculum. Through coaching, teachers developed a toolbox of arts strategies that they could apply across the curriculum, as well as an understanding of how these strategies function and the many ways that they contribute to student learning.

Drama For Schools

Planned and facilitated professional development trainings for K-12 educators in Drama Based Instruction. Collaborated with teachers on implementing drama based instructional strategies and lessons in their classrooms. Developed instructional videos and other digital resources for the Drama Based Instruction Network Website. Presented on the Drama Based Instruction Website at the International Drama in Education Research Institute Conference in Limerick, Ireland. Co-presented workshop on Drama Based Instruction and Disability at the US Embassy in Zagreb, Croatia.

Instructed and created the curriculum for an undergraduate level improvisation course. Used my training and performance background in improvisation to design a course that offered students opportunities to learn the mechanics and performance skills of long and short form improvisation.

After completing a summer long internship in 2004, Noah worked with SCT instructing summer camps and classes in acting, improvisation, and creative drama. In addition to classes at the theatre, Noah also worked in Seattle Children's Theatre partnership with the Woodland Park Zoo, Frye Art Museum, and Experience Music Project.

The Working Theatre Collective produced new plays that were locally inspired and collaboratively created in unexpected spaces. As a member of the collective, I created, produced, and directed "bike play" an annual production that took audiences on a theatrical adventure and bike ride around Portland. I also directed "A Falling Apart Sort of Thing" by Nate Harpel, helped manage publicity, and sound designed for a number of original productions.
