I have spent the last several years in plastics manufacturing, working with polypropylene and polystyrene thermoforming equipment. I have developed related skills that include machine operation, extrusion, equipment processing & troubleshooting while working as a machine operator. Currently employed with Summit Plastic Company, I started in 2021 as a parts packer and received multiple promotions in a short period of time, up to my current supervisor position which I have held since Oct. 2022. In charge of my own crew, my responsibilities include successfully training new machine operators, forklift operators, and other crew members, organizing and leading daily pre-shift meetings to highlight production goals, monthly safety training, implementing 5S procedures, and assisting in light-to-moderate maintenance tasks.
