My duties as an Energy Assistant Intern included supporting CCI’s field team of energy auditors and energy assessors by shadowing these team members on home visits, helping to set up and use a blower-door-test, installing light energy conservation measures, and to capture, track and report the necessary data from these visits. I also supported CCI’s work to coordinate the ReEnergize Pittsburgh coalition, and handled outreach & administrative assignments as well. Here I assisted with lead generation mailings, prepared energy efficiency presentations, and occasionally accompanied team members to industry meetings. The final duty assigned to me was regular maintenance of the LEED Gold certified building in which Conservation Consultants, Inc owns and manages.
