I'm some sort of up-and-coming Geographer/Programmer/Writer based in Illinois. I got my B.Sc. in Biology from McGill University in Montreal, Canada, and a M.A. in Geography with a GIS Concentration at Chicago State University. I also received a GIS Certificate from CSU, and a TEFL Certificate from Literacy Works. I've worked in a variety of fields ranging from Behavioral Ecology to Utility Asset Mapping to Data Mining, but it's GIS Programming that I am truly passionate about. I started at Esri as an SDK Support Analyst, then got promoted to SDK Readiness Lead (think Technical Instructor), and now am enjoying working as a Product Engineer with the JavaScript Development Team.
