Major clients and projects included the Interstate Bridge Replacement, Oregon Mass Timber Coalition, high-speed rail, The Nature Conservancy, The Street Trust, Clackamas Community College, Metro, and the Oregon Marine Reserves Partnership.

It was my privilege to oversee the Office of the Director, with responsibility for equity and diversity, communications, strategic planning and performance, asset management, capital controls, and transportation funding. Our success included a new strategic plan, renewal of the Portland gas tax, 5G rollout, ride-hailing regulations, utility franchises, and street usage during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Led the creation of an export strategy for regional products and services, and developed partnerships and business recruitments in China, South Korea, Taiwan, the Netherlands, Canada, and Brazil.

Served as an economic affairs officer with assignments to Yemen, Israel, and Egypt. I provided economic analysis to the US Government on banking & finance, telecommunications, energy, and money laundering. Managed international development programs, including $30 million in projects for the Middle East Partnership Initiative. Organized state visits by the President, Secretary of State, and Congressional delegations.
