I am an ambitious student who is always seeking opportunities to learn and improve myself. Growing up involved with athletics taught me the importance of determination and perseverance. My upbringing also taught me how to be coachable and constructively incorporate feedback to become the best version of myself.Through my internship with Sandhills Global, I have strengthened my communication and soft skills. My internship has allowed me to interact with a plethora of unique individuals while performing sales calls. I gained experience in cold calling, developing relationships with new prospects, and hands-on experience with sales and marketing. In supplementation to my internship, I work as a bartender at a local bar and restaurant. My role as the bartender has aided in the development of my interpersonal skills, time management, and ability to work in a team.In combination with my internship, my membership in the University of Nebraska's Center for Sales Excellence, has provided me with knowledge of the sales and buying process. I now value the importance of viewing information from other's perspectives. This ability helps me empathize with classmates, colleagues, and customers alike. As I continue my professional development, my past experiences and desire to grow as a person will prove valuable to any team! I hope to pursue a career in orthopedic or pharmaceutical sales upon graduation.
