I aspire to provide valuable and engaging journalism, with my work primarily focused in the sports reporting field. Three organizations in the Gainesville news market currently provide the opportunity for me to do this. With each of the journalistic opportunities I'm presented, I strive to improve my storytelling abilities and believe that I can always find a way to strengthen my writing. Although I haven't been in the sports journalism field for an extended period of time, I believe the experience I have will allow me to be a valuable contributor to any news organization I may have the opportunity to join in the future. On top of my journalistic work, I'm a sophomore at the University of Florida pursuing majors in journalism (sports and media) and public relations. Prior to my collegiate days, I was a sports writer for and subsequently the editor-in-chief of the Conard Courant, my high school's student newspaper. Since early on in high school, I've known that I wanted to pursue a reporting career. Now, I get the opportunity to live out my dream every day.
