In the Ohio Army National Guard, I have achieved many tasks and goals throughout my six years of service. I have been a Non-Commissioned officer for four years and a squad leader of eight soldiers for over a year. In addition, I led a team of four soldiers on a year-long deployment to the Middle East. For said deployment, I trained 150 soldiers over the course of six months to fully prepare for the mission. During the mission itself, I continued to train soldiers to the Army standard to further unit readiness. I have earned the Army Achievement Medal for my efforts in furthering the mission and my knowledge on chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear tasks and drills. I have also earned the Meritorious Unit Commendation Medal for being the best-trained chemical unit within the Army during the time of my deployment.

At US Together, I worked under the Communications Specialist to further communication and public affairs efforts to the great Columbus area that would later be implemented to the branch offices in Toledo and Cleveland. I created content for US Togethers' blog, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook. In addition, I developed a calendar of relevant dates and holidays for the company to give further insight on how to prepare for future events and operations. By attending weekly meetings, I was able to give input to leaders of projects to ensure well-rounded events and publishings would reach our target audience and key publics.

During my time working for The Ohio State University, I was a research assistant in the Department of Anthropology for Dr. Jeffery Cohen. I aided in research efforts but editing collective work from professionals in various fields from all around the world that would later be submitted to Edward Elgar Press to be published. I also aided in clerical work, class preparation, and document editing.
