As a bartender I face a wide array of tasks and challenges each and every night I work. I constantly tend to the needs of the patrons at either the main bar or patio bar ensuring that operations are running smoothly to keep customers happy. Having to manage making drinks, properly inputting them into our point of sales system while still keeping a smile on your face is a stressful yet rewarding task. The high paced atmosphere provides energy throughout the entire night. I also make frequent sweeps of the bar in order to clean tables, pick up trash, and make sure that the customers of the bar are being responsible and respectful. Maintaining a clean, efficient, and fun bar environment is crucial to the success of Ziggy Zoombas. We pride ourselves as being one of the top bars in Bowling Green, OH.

As the Staff Assistant, my goal was to keep the main District Office operating and available for constituent services. On a daily basis I was tasked with answering constituent phone calls and emails. The outreach falls under numerous categories which must be forwarded to the proper staff member. I have also drafted and written numerous Congressional Proclamations, Federal Grant Letters, and Constituent Services Correspondence Letters. The experience in the office has allowed me to gain insight into the environment and interworking's of Congressional District Office operations and standards. The job has also allowed me to become acquainted with IConstituent and Fireside databases which we used for logging constituent comments and casework.

As head coach of the BGSU Men's Club Soccer team I have been tasked with the challenge of putting together a full soccer team and coaching them to victory. As a team we find time out of our schedules to practice three days a week. My overall goals are to develop a quality brand of soccer, improve the skills of the players, instill a strong work ethic and win as many games as possible throughout the season. Taking over the job is challenging but mentoring these men is something that has always been a passion to me.

As an intern for Congressman Bob Latta I was exposed to the political environment and was able to gain office experience as well. I was charged with the tasks of answering phone calls from constituents and either answering their questions or passing them on to the appropriate personnel. Navigating the IQ database created a bit of difficulty but once I became familiar with the software I was able to work quickly and efficiently. I also read and proofed documents as well as scanning through news sources and staying up to date with the political world. The experience from this office has opened my eyes to the world of political and Congressional work.
