Social Media Marketing Intern
As a Social Media Intern, I worked as part of the Southern New Hampshire University On-Campus Marketing team. This position required me to continuously create new ideas for content that would be posted on the various SNHU On-Campus social media sites including Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. In addition to generating ideas, I was responsible for bringing those ideas to life through filming and editing my own content. Each week I met with a variety of students, staff, and/or faculty in order to conduct interviews and get footage for the videos. Afterwards, I would edit the content and produce a final product that gets posted onto the SNHU On-Campus social media sites.

During this project I got the chance to collaborate with a four person team to research the automobile industry in depth. In this research we took a closer look at Grappone Automotive Group to uncover common issues in the automobile industry that they may be dealing with as well. We then developed a plan to help them resolve these issues and to build their social media following. After our plan was created we got the chance to present it to the CEO, a marketing manager and a sales representative of Grappone Automotive Group.
Undergraduate Research Day
Every year Southern New Hampshire University hosts Undergraduate Research Day where any student can come present research that they have conducted. I worked in a four person team months before the event to begin research on the topic of our choosing. After lots of consideration and research we decided on substance abuse for our topic of research. We then created a research objective for our topic that posed the question Why do College Students Drink Alcohol?Once we had our objective we began building a survey to pinpoint what behaviors and motivators might be making college students drink. We passed this survey out to hundreds of Southern New Hampshire University Students and were able to compile to the data to present on Undergraduate Research Day. Our research and findings were published in the SNHU 2017 UC Undergraduate Research Day Journal of Proceedings.
Student Project
This project gave me the chance to collaborate on a four person team to research the food truck industry. We worked with a food truck on the campus of Southern New Hampshire University named the Munchiez Food Truck. This food truck wanted to work their way to zero waste so we began researching other food trucks that either were zero waste or were working towards zero waste. We than identified the current waste being produced in the Munchiez Food Truck and looked at ways to reduce or stop this waste. Finally, we finished our plan and presented it to the owner and workers at the Munchiez Food Truck so that they could start their path to zero waste.
